FCAS

New Fellows walk across the stage, individually, at the Celebration of New Members on Monday Morning.

A reception for new Fellows and one guest is held Monday evening.  There will be light refreshments, entertainment, and a chance to mingle with the CAS President, CAS Board Members, and other new Fellows.

Celebration of New Members – Monday Morning

Your guests are invited to attend the Celebration of New Members at no cost. They may sit in any open, unreserved seat. No RSVP is required. You may bring as many guests as you'd like to this event.

New Fellow Reception – Monday Evening:

All new Fellows may receive a complimentary ticket for one guest to join them at their recognition reception.  Use the link below to RSVP your complimentary guest for the FCAS Reception on Monday evening.

RSVP Your Reception Guests by October 5

Have more than one guest attending?  You may request additional tickets for $80 each using the same form.  You will be invoiced for your purchase as the meeting approaches. 

All new Fellows will participate in a group photo with the CAS President on Monday evening, immediately before the New Fellow Reception. These photos will be published in the Actuarial Review.

New Fellows will also have an opportunity to take an individual photo with the CAS President during the New Fellow Reception on Monday evening.

 

No. You’ll be receiving an email from our certificate vendor Parchment on October 15. You'll receive immediate access to your digital certificate and will also be able to request a complimentary printed certificate, which will be mailed to you.

ACAS

On Sunday evening, there is a New Associates Reception for all new Associates and one guest. There will be light refreshments, entertainment, and a chance to mingle with the CAS President, CAS Board Members, and other new Associates.  The CAS President will welcome you to the CAS as a group before taking group photos.  

Please note that the New Associates Reception is separate from the Welcome Reception. The Welcome Reception is open to all registered attendees and immediately follows the new ACAS Reception.

Typically, between 800–1,400 people attend the CAS Spring or Annual Meeting.

No. You must register for the meeting, but you do not need to register for concurrent sessions. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
